To become an engineer, you should generally choose the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in Classes 11 and 12. Mathematics and Physics are especially important for most engineering courses.

After Class 12, you can pursue a B.Tech or B.E. degree in a branch such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, and many others.

So the future of animation is positive and growing.

2. If you are weak in Mathematics, can you still take animation?

Yes, absolutely.
Animation does not require strong mathematics.
Most animation work is creative — drawing, design, storytelling, character making, movements, colours, background creation, etc.
Software like Blender, Maya, After Effects, and Toon Boom handle all the technical calculations internally.
As long as you are creative, patient, and willing to practice, math weakness will not stop you.
