Different Types of Nouns: Based on Gender
Nouns can also be grouped by gender, which tells us if they are male, female, or neither.
These nouns refer to male persons or male animals.
Examples: boy, father, king, lion, bull, man, hero
Feminine Nouns:
These nouns refer to female persons or animals.
Examples: girl, mother, queen, lioness, cow, woman, heroine
Neuter Nouns:
These nouns refer to non-living things or plants that do not have a gender.
Examples: table, chair, book, pencil, stone, tree, house

- Proper Nouns always start with a capital letter because they name something specific. Like Mumbai, Ram etc.
- Common Nouns are general names and usually don't start with a capital letter. Like boy, girl, dog etc
- Abstract Nouns are things you can't touch or see, like happiness or courage.
- Collective Nouns name a group as one unit, like a team or a flock.
